Notes Andrews received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, in 1984. In 1988 he received his Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa, and three years later he attained a Master of Arts degree from the same university. He has had solo exhibitions at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire; "Repetitions," at the Print Club in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and "Document Series," at the University of Minnesota in Morris, Minnesota. He has received numerous honors and awards, including the Pollack/Krasner Foundation Award in 1995, an Artist Residence Fellowship at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Art in Omaha, Nebraska, and the 1992/1993 Arts Midwest/NEA Regional Visual Arts Fellowship Award. His works can be found in the permanent collections of the Philadelphia Museum of Art; the University of Minnesota, Morris, Minnesota; and the Taipei Fine Arts Museum in Taipei, Taiwan.
