Notes Marcheschi received his Masters of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture from the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, California. He has exhibited extensively in solo and group exhibitions in museums and galleries across the United States and throughout the world, including the Aldrich Museum in Connecticut, the National Gallery in West Berlin, Germany, the Copenhagen Museum in Denmark, and the Minneapolis Institute of Art. His works appear in the permanent collections of the Milwaukee Art Center in Wisconsin, the Minnesota Institute of Arts in Minnesota, and the Nelson-Atkins Museum in Kansas City, Missouri. Marcheschi is the recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts award in sculpture, a McKnight Foundation Grant, and a Bush Foundation Fellowship. The California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in Minnesota, the San Francisco Art Institute in California, and the University of California in Berkeley are all institutions where Marcheschi has taught. He has given more than 150 lectures in the United States and in Europe.
